My relationship with money started long before I became a CPA. I was the designated Monopoly banker growing up and I helped balance my mom’s checkbook, but I also remember what it felt like not to understand where money was going, or to make a decision I later wished I'd thought through more carefully. Those moments taught me as much as the ones where I got it right.

That curiosity turned into a career across accounting, tax, financial planning, and business strategy. Along the way, I’ve learned that financial success isn’t just about how much money you make. It’s about understanding where your money is going, making intentional decisions, and creating a plan that supports the life or business you’re trying to build.

I created Calculated Finance to make professional financial guidance more practical and accessible. Whether I’m helping someone create a realistic plan for their personal finances, helping a business owner understand their numbers, or helping a client navigate taxes, my goal is the same: to replace financial uncertainty with clarity and confidence.
